What is the class schedule?

Classes run Monday through Friday between 4:30 PM and 9:00 PM, plus Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Kids, teens and adults each have dedicated time slots — contact us for the exact current timetable.

Monthly tuition varies by age group and program. We keep it accessible and offer family discounts. Your first class is free so you can try before committing.

What age groups do you teach?

We teach children (ages 5+), teens and adults. Classes are grouped by age and belt rank so every student trains with peers at the right level.

I'm a complete beginner — is that okay?

Absolutely. Most students start as complete beginners. The white belt curriculum assumes no prior experience and our senior students will help you find your footing.

Can I try a free class?

Yes. Every new student is welcome to a complimentary trial class. Wear loose, comfortable clothing — a gi is provided once you enroll.

Do you have a competition team?

Yes. Shoya Kai runs a competitive team for athletes who want to train in tournament kata and kumite. Participation is optional and based on commitment level.

What equipment do I need?

Beginners need nothing — just loose clothing. As you progress you'll get a gi (karate uniform), belt and basic sparring gear. We can guide you on what to buy and when.
